The longest part of a journey is when the plane is on the tarmac but hasn’t reached the gate. The train is in the station, slowly rolling into alignment. The closer to doors opening, the higher the anticipation. We are less than two weeks out until Desert Daze, which returns to Lake Perris, CA from November 12-14, 2021. Everything is waiting for you on the other side. Today, Desert Daze—produced by Moon Block and Knitting Factory Entertainment—has announced the set times for this year’s event which will be headlined by The War on Drugs (their only show of 2021!), Kamasi Washington, Toro Y Moi and Japanese Breakfast. Also, joining the previously announced performers are Desert Daze vets A Place to Bury Strangers and George Clanton. See set times and line up below. Desert Daze will also return to THE OUTER SPACE, the camping stage featuring matinee shows before gates open at 3pm each day as well as late night experimentations. In addition to more live music, THE OUTER SPACE will host sound baths, morning yoga, and plenty of time to explore or take a swim before main stage performances begin. Between morning activities, campers can get their energy up with matinee performances from Tropa Magica, Al Lover (DJ set), Modular Sound Bath & Yoga, San Diego Freakout DJs, and more. After the main stage performances end each night, those who hold a camping pass can keep the night going at the Camping Village with late night experimentations from ESPRIT 空想, Radiojed, Tomo from Kikagaku Moyo (DJ set), and closing ceremonies with JJUUJJUU & Friends.
