EARLY PRAISE FOR LOMELDA:

"Hannah, the third full-length album by the Texan singer-songwriter Lomelda, continues her project of condensing sprawling musical ideas into bite-size bits. On one standout track, she name-drops herself alongside Frank Ocean and Frankie Cosmos, two artists with whom she shares a knack for poignant introspection."
-The New York Times

"Hannah Read doesn't need much beyond a guitar and her mighty voice to craft songs that continue to leave an impression long after they've finished. 'Wonder,' evokes just what its title suggests, facing down the expanses of the unknown with wide-eyed determination."
-The FADER

"Offers encouragement in the face of uncertainty... The arrangement is straightforward-assertive drums, a medley of guitars-but Read imbues this foundation with emotion."
-Pitchfork

"Hannah feels warm and immensely comforting. It radiates light even in its darkest moments. At the center of all of these songs is Read's remarkable voice, which sounds swallowed up and wide open all at once."
-Stereogum

"Meditative and beautiful."
-NPR

"Truly lovely and wondrous music... Hannah Read's songs as Lomelda are both tender and devastatingly cathartic."
-VICE

"Hannah Read makes folk songs that have entire universes inside of them."
-them.

"Introspective, insightful, and honest."
-Consequence of Sound

"Hannah Read does what she does best on her latest album, Hannah. Namely, Read peels back the events of her life to reveal open-hearted ruminations on loneliness, long distances, chance encounters, and missed connections. All suffused with the appropriate amount of emotional depth."
-Under The Radar

"In usual Lomelda fashion, the song is cathartic and vulnerable. It's soft but it builds into something powerful and poignant."
-Paste

"Deeply personal... showcases some of Read's most unflinching songwriting and varied arrangements to date."
-American Songwriter
