Fever Ray, The Knife and Björk today share a remix swap series that highlights the signature styles espoused by three of modern music’s boundary-breaking innovators. Fever Ray’s moody and ethereal rework of Björk’s “Features Creatures” contrasts against The Knife’s vigorous and pulsating take as each remix offers a unique perspective on Björk’s original track. Meanwhile, Björk contributes a dire and delightfully dissonant reimagining of Fever Ray’s “This Country.” Both Fever Ray’s and The Knife’s remixes of “Features Creatures” incorporate Karin Dreijer's vocals while Björk contributes her own vocals to the “This Country” remix, making all three tracks duets. Listen to “Features Creatures (Fever Ray Remix)” here. Listen to “Features Creatures (The Knife Remix)” here. Listen to “This Country Makes It Hard To Fuck (Björk Remix)” here. A limited edition vinyl 12” of all three remixes will be released by One Little Indian on November 1. Pre-order here. Last week, Fever Ray released a club-ready remix of their self-titled debut album’s track “I’m Not Done” called “I’m Not Done (Still Not Done Dancing Mix).” Listen here.
