Fresh off her performance at Palazzo Benzon during the Venice Biennale, multi-disciplinary artist, producer and vocalist
K Á R Y Y N has unveiled a new digital installation, “TODAY I READ YOUR LIFE STORY.” Experience the installation and learn more about K Á R Y Y N via her interview with
V Magazine.
“TODAY I READ YOUR LIFE STORY” – which was created in partnership with experimental digital artist
Stranger Stranger – is based on K Á R Y Y N's song by the same name. The piece encourages viewers to share personal experiences and stories, which will then be anonymously shared via a public Twitter account. The project was borne of K Á R Y Y N’s desire to create a communal space where participants can unburden themselves of the many fears, challenges and anxieties of living in today’s fraught social climate. By seeing the stories of others, participants can comfort knowing that they are not alone with their experiences.
As she explains, "For many, there is a sense that our stories are not being heard. I wanted to create a place where each person’s story is shared, read and honored. This is about sharing, being heard, validating another’s experience and feeling reassurance knowing that the world has seen your story.”
Having wrapped a European tour with labelmate Apparat that left audiences rapt in a state of awe, K Á R Y Y N is excited to announce her North American live debut. Following her performance at Barcelona’s Sónar Festival, K Á R Y Y N will support The Acid at The Regent in Los Angeles on July 24. Tickets for the show are currently on sale

K Á R Y Y N’s debut album,
THE QUANTA SERIES, was recorded over a nomadic seven-year journey across continents in search of healing and inspiration.
