NPR's First Listen streaming Julia Jacklin's new album 'Crushing', New Video + Album Out 2/22

JULIA JACKLIN NEW ALBUM CRUSHING STREAMING IN FULL VIA NPR FIRST LISTEN  RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR "COMFORT" CRUSHING OUT NEXT FRIDAY FEBRUARY 22ND ON POLYVINYL RECORD CO.

Although her guitar stands out... the instrumentation largely serves as a platter on which her lyrics sit." - NPR Julia Jacklin’s much anticipated new album Crushing is out in just over a week but you can hear it now in its entirety streaming over at NPR. Julia Jacklin also speaks to NPR to discuss the album at length. Also released today is the video for “Comfort” which Julia Jacklin filmed with long time collaborator Nick McKinlay while on tour in the US recently. She says, "Happy Valentine's Day! On tour with First Aid Kit last year I crossed the highway from our Super 8 motel just outside of Santa Rosa, New Mexico and stumbled upon this strange water park. I ran back and dragged Nick out of his bed yelling, "we must make a video!" we only had an hour before we needed to start driving to the next show but we managed to get enough footage of me looking sad to make the clip.”

Watch The Video For "Comfort" Jacklin was recently in the US where she stopped by the Paste Studios to perform songs from the new album as well as WFUV, WFMU and World Cafe in Philadelphia.
