Music Tastes Good: Here are your set times for next weekend

With three stages (one rotating with back-to-back performers and another with back-to-back DJs and chef demonstrations) and a Taste Tent full of delicious bites (now included with the ticket price), this year’s Music Tastes Good  festival on Sept. 29-30 at the Marina Green Park in Long Beach is sure to please all five senses.

New Order and James Blake are the days’ headliners, with a strong contingent of second-liners including Broken Social Scene, Santigold, Joey Bada$$, Janelle Monae, the Black Angels, Lizzo and Parquet Courts.  The bill’s mix of veteran artists (the Church, Bill Callahan) and newcomers (Cherry Glazerr, Princess Nokia, Hana Vu) make the festival even more promising.

Tickets in advance (available here) are $150 general admission 

and $300 VIP for the weekend; $85 GA and $175 V.I.P. per day. Children 5 and younger under are free with a ticketed adult and discounted tickets for children 6-12 for $35 per day with a ticketed adult will also be available at the box office (subject to capacity).
