With the release of the second single from her forthcoming new album now out into the world Courtney Barnett well and truly has everyone’s attention.

Last week Courtney Barnett released a new song and the accompanying video for “Need A Little Time”, the sublime second single from her upcoming sophomore album Tell Me How You Really Feel. That came off the back of her previous scorcher "Nameless, Faceless”, with both songs showing the songwriter at the absolute top of her game.

Tell Me How You Really Feel is set to be released on May 18th and Barnett and is sure to propel to even greater heights.

Today the Melbourne native announced an extensive run of North American dates which will see her return with her band to the U.S. this fall to play some of her biggest headline shows to date. Full tour schedule is below including previously announced dates for her spring and summer tours as well as festival plays including Pitchfork Festival, Newport Folk Festival, Shaky Knees and more.

Early Press for Tell Me How You Really Feel:

"Courtney Barnett has always been equally cutting, and funny, as a lyricist, her observations about the boredom and banality — but also the love and hope — of life are so direct that they become surreal.” - NPR

"Over a jangly guitar melody, Barnett responds to her anonymous critics with a mix of blunt empathy and dry wit”- Rolling Stone

“Savagely clever, grunge-pop” - Pitchfork

"Indie rock’s sharpest lyricist” - Entertainment Weekly

"Consider me stunned.”- Stereogum

"She's still brilliantly balancing sunny-day melodies with loose, distorted, late-grunge choruses, but she's tightened them up even further” - Noisey
