With the album complete, Wonderland is ready to take AWAKE on the road, beginning with her April 13 and 20 performances at Coachella, where she will become the highest billed female DJ in the festival’s history. Her North American tour will kick off on August 3 at the Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO and include an August 17 concert at Los Angeles’ historic Shrine Auditorium. See below for itinerary. Tickets go on sale today at 10:00 AM local time. Every online ticket purchase for the summer run comes with one digital download of Awake. For additional details, visit alisonwonderland.com.

The title AWAKE came to Wonderland in a dream. “I think it was my subconscious telling me things,” she reasons. “The more I wrote, the more it seemed the perfect name.

To realize that dream, Wonderland immersed herself in the process of making the album, lending her writing and producing skills to every track. Her collaborators include Joel Little (Lorde), Illangelo (The Weeknd), Party Favor (Mad Decent) and long-time friend Lido (who also worked on Run).

“Joel Little’s so awesome and chill,” she says about her sessions with the GRAMMY® winner. “He’s innovative, empathetic and doesn’t judge you.”

Also joining the party are some of Wonderland’s favorite next gen rappers. Ohio rapper Trippie Redd reigns on the ambient “High” while L.A. young gun Buddy channels his chill vibes on the tropical pop of “Cry.”

Chief Keef – who’s previously worked with Kanye West, Lil B and Travi$ Scott – guests on“Dreamy Dragon,” throwing down rhymes over euphoric breakbeat house. Wonderlandobserves, It’s the perfect mash-up of his world and mine. He was so much fun in the studio. I was playing the track super loud and he just put his ear right against the speaker. During takes, he was dancing in the booth.”

A mix of digital-pop and incendiary beats, AWAKE sees Wonderland blaze new territory - sonically, vocally and emotionally. Lead single “CHURCH” features her most revealing lyrics to date, concerning struggles with difficult relationships, anxiety and self-doubt. She hopes AWAKEwill help others face their own trials.

“If you’ve got a voice and a platform, you can use it for real communication,” Wonderland says. “I want to make a track that someone will hear and be like ‘shit, I totally get what she’s feeling and if she can get out, maybe I can, too.’ I don’t want them to be afraid to talk about it.”

AWAKE is an exhilarating step forward from Wonderland’s debut album, Run. In addition to taking the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart, Run topped the iTunes Top Electronic Albums chart in the U.S. and the iTunes Albums chart in Australia. It has sold more than 150,000 album equivalent units worldwide and has more than 140 million cumulative streams. In 2017, Wonderland won New Artist of the Year honors at the Electronic Music Awards and was named as one of the top DJs in the world by DJ Mag.

Over the past five years, Wonderland has established a remarkable international touring career, with sold-out headline tours of the U.S., Australia and New Zealand and performances at such festivals as Lollapalooza, Firefly, Electric Forest, Electric Daisy Carnival (Las Vegas, New York, Orlando, Miami and the UK) and Splendour In The Grass.
