Swedish pop duo The Radio Dept. return with new single “Your True Name” today. Available on all digital platforms, the track follows the release of their politically charged fourth album Running Out Of Love which earned acclaim from the likes of NPR andPitchfork while inspiring timely commentary from outlets such as The Atlantic.
The band comments, “Your True Name is a song about faith in a way, not divine but utopian, believing in something that will probably never be. And it’s about falling short, sometimes with your goal just barely out of reach. This is our first single on our own label Just So! (yes, we’re finally indie for real).”

The Radio Dept. will kick off a national tour on January 29th, hitting cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia. Tickets are available for purchase here.
An exclusive vinyl reissue of their 2003 debut album Lesser Matters will be available in the merch booth on tour via the band’s new label imprint Just So! and will be available online at a later date.
