Today UK duo Good Neighbours released Blue Sky Mentality (Complete Edition), an expanded version of their highly acclaimed debut album, drawing a definitive close to the era. The expanded release features 11 additional tracks, delivered with brand-new artwork and a visual component accompanying each previously unreleased song.

The Complete Edition builds on the foundation of Blue Sky Mentality with new material including “Somebody” (previously available only on vinyl), a new version of “The Buzz,” and the band’s distinctive takes on Gracie Abrams’ “That’s So True” and Bon Iver’s “Hey, Ma.” “Somebody,” originally only offered on vinyl, offers fans a long-awaited digital release of one of the duo’s most requested songs, expanding the emotional and sonic scope of the album.

Released less than two years into the band’s existence, Blue Sky Mentality has quietly become a global success story. Across all DSPs and media formats, the album has now generated over 1.4 billion total streams worldwide. While breakout single “Home” accounts for more than 1 billion streams alone, the remaining album tracks have amassed an additional 400 million streams, a remarkable achievement for a debut release from a two-year-old band.

Blue Sky Mentality stands as an extraordinary debut: 400 million streams across deep-cut album tracks, sustained global engagement, and a live following that consistently delivers 1,000–3,000 ticket sales in cities around the world. It’s a rare marker of real fan connection, and proof that Good Neighbours are not defined by a single song, but by a body of work resonating far beyond borders.

Since forming in late 2023, friends Oli Fox and Scott Verrill have experienced a rise that few new acts achieve. From early sweat-box shows to festival main stages, the duo have become a global touring force, with highlights including GlastonburyReading & LeedsRadio 1’s Big WeekendOsheagaOutside LandsRock en Seine, and more. Their ascent has been matched by cultural impact, from television appearances to soundtrack placements, while maintaining a deeply human connection with fans drawn to their themes of community and hope.

Blue Sky Mentality was written on the road, across vans, tour buses, flights, and hotel rooms, capturing the chaos and clarity of a life in motion. Pairing luminous synths with anthemic choruses, the album explores distance and belonging, grief and optimism, and the quiet strength found in togetherness. The Complete Edition extends that vision, offering new perspective on a record that has already become a touchstone for listeners worldwide.

The release lands as Good Neighbours prepare to kick off their UK & Ireland tour in Dublin, followed by a sold-out London show at Kentish Town Forum on February 17, and a European tour in March. The band have also announced their appearance at BottleRock Festival, continuing a live run that underscores their status as one of the fastest-breaking global acts of their generation.

Speaking about the new expanded version of the album, Good Neigbours reveal, "We had a crazy year last year playing 130 shows and writing and recording our first album. Along the way we realized there were so many songs and versions we loved that were never going to see the light of day, so we wanted to give our fans everything on the hard drive while we get to work on album two . ”

With Blue Sky Mentality (Complete Edition), Good Neighbours close the chapter on an era that brought millions of people into their orbit, the start of an incredible journey with lasting impact.
