BAND ANNOUNCES OLIVE KLUG WILL BE THE OPENER FOR UPCOMING ALL YOU NEED IS TIME TOUR SHOWS BEGIN APRIL 12 IN BOSTON, MA SOPHOMORE ALBUM ALL YOU NEED IS TIME HITS 180mm TOTAL STREAMS – LISTEN ALBUM RELEASED VIA S-CURVE RECORDS “There’s something breezy and refreshingly uncomplicated about the indie-pop sounds of Daisy the Great—even when the subject matter of their music delves into the complex.” - FLOOD Magazine
Today Brooklyn, NY-based indie pop band Daisy the Great share a new version of “Tell Me Have You Been Dancing” remixed by and featuring vocals from indie pop artist Claud.
“We were so happy to have Claud remix our song. We love Claud, and it was such an honor to have their voice and their production on this song. The original is off of our latest album All You Need Is Time, and it's about missing someone that you’ve loved. Claud layered a lot of the vocals and created some beautiful canons that really bring out the way your thoughts swirl when you never really stop thinking about someone that you had to let go of.” – Daisy The Great

From the band: “This album, ‘All You Need Is Time’, means everything to us. It has been years in the making and we are so excited to be finally sharing the whole collection of songs with the world. Writing these songs was a huge part of processing our lives over the past few years, and learning about who we are and who we want to be. The record is about self-perception, love, growing up, patience, purpose, change. We eventually started pairing these songs together for the album and saw a thread between them, capturing the dichotomy of feeling time slipping through your fingers while you’re waiting for your life to start. We recorded the album at Studio G in Brooklyn, NY in the winter during the pandemic. It was recorded at a time when we all really didn’t know what the future held, and this project felt like we were able to pour everything that we had into it. We were so lucky to be able to collaborate with our best friends on building this record and we are so proud to be putting it out into the world.”
