Praise for The Redaction:
"Immersive psychedelia" - Rolling Stone
"A spaced-out classic rock jam... “Feel Another Day” has misty Eagles-style harmonies and woozy layers of War On Drugs-style synth." - Stereogum
"Minneapolis heartland rockers” - Brooklyn Vegan
"A beautifully built song filled with three-part harmonies, roving pedal steel and ethereal string synths" - Glide
"Beautifully nostalgic and simply irresistible" - Glamglare
"There’s an irresistible mystique to this track that’ll have you in a sonic spell." - Abduction Radiation
Coming off a Mid-West and East Coast summer tour with packed shows and a sold out date at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Rooftop, the Minneapolis-based Night Moves announce a West Coast fall tour, which kicks off in Omaha on Oct 4 and includes dates in Los Angeles on October 15 and Houston on October 22.
The tour follows Night Moves’ latest effort, The Redaction EP, a short cinematic collage, harmoniously shaped together to create an EP that seamlessly blends psychedelia with a classic cozy twang. With legendary producer John Agnello (Sonic Youth, Horsegirl, Kurt Vile, Dinosaur Jr.), who also worked on Night Moves’ Pennied Days, lending a hand, the resulting songs prove the bands evolution as songwriters, still trading in massive pop hooks that manage to convey yearning melancholy with a sense of maturity and perspective.
The Redaction includes the thrumming “As Innocent Looking As Candy,” a breathless meditation on gun violence, as well as the previously released “spaced-out classic” (Stereogum) "Feel Another Day,” “surreal” (Brooklyn Vegan) “Vulnerable Hours,” and “psychedelic” (Under The Radar) “Fallacy Actually.”

Founded by guitarist/lead vocalist John Pelant and bassist Micky Alfano, and later joined by Mark Hanson and Charles Murlowski, Night Moves meld the sounds of classic rock with Americana, creating irresistible hooky cosmic sludge with a Nashville twang.
