Jess Williamson Releases 'Texas Blue'

Texas Blue Out Now! Today singer-songwriter Jess Williamson releases Texas Blue, a cover collection of two Texas classics – "Loretta" by Townes Van Zandt and "Texas River Song" by an unknown writer (made popular by Van Zandt and others).  Jess Williamson offers a wide open ode to her home state with Texas Blue. Williamson first heard this pair of poetic masterpieces as a teenager when she first moved to Austin, Texas, and the songs have haunted her since. For Williamson, Loretta was the free spirit she couldn’t be, and her beloved Texas rivers ran deep with heartbreaking memories.
