Earlier this month, British neo-psychedelic rockers Temples shared exciting news: in celebration of the 10 year anniversary of their debut album Sun Structures, on October 4th, they are releasing the Other Structures EP. The EP is a collection of 4 B-sides, and two remixes from The S.L.P. (of Kasabian) and from Robert Levon Been (of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club). The commemorative collection of songs comes just in time, as they prepare to embark on the Sun Structures Anniversary Tour across select U.S. cities.
Today, Temples' hit single "Shelter Song" is given the remix treatment by The S.L.P., the latest project by Sergio Lorenzo Pizzorno, singer, songwriter and record producer behind Kasabian. "Shelter Song" cemented Temples at the forefront of the psychedelic rock revival scene back in 2014 alongside their peers The Horrors, TOY, Jagwa Ma and later King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard.
“Over a decade ago we supported Kasabian on a short tour," Temples lyricist and frontman James Bagshaw recalls. "One night Serge decided to sing the verse lyrics of shelter song over their track underdog. When we asked Serge to do a remix, we knew we would unlock another layer of the song and bring a fresh electronic timbre. He is the king of building up songs into crescendos!”

This British neo-psychedelic band formed in Kettering, England in 2012 and consists of singer/guitarist James Bagshaw, bassist Tom Walmsley, keyboardist/guitarist Adam Smith, and drummer Rens Ottink. Their unique sound is a blend of vintage inspired production reminiscent of 1960s psychedelia and fresh, modern groove.
