Beginning next week on September 18, Neko Case will embark on a monthlong US headlining tour that will traverse across the East coast and Midwest and will feature a special performance closing out the ANTI- Records 25th Anniversary Showcase at Americanafest in Nashville.
Case recently announced ’The Harder I Fight The More I Love You‘, her debut book in which she brings her trademark candor and precision to memoir. Tracing her evolution from an invisible girl “raised by two dogs and a space heater” in rural Washington state to her improbable emergence as an internationally acclaimed talent, the book is a rebellious meditation on identity and corruption, and a manifesto on how to make space for ourselves in this world, despite the obstacles we face.
Of her memoir, Case said, “I hope my story will cast a spell of love, invite everyone inside, and smash the illusion that we have no connection to each other.” Acquired by Hachette Publishing, ‘The Harder I Fight The More I Love You’ comes out January 28, 2025. Neko Case has long been revered as one of music’s most influential artists, whose lyrical storytelling, and sly wit have endeared her to a legion of critics, musicians, and lifelong fans. In addition to her numerous critically acclaimed and Grammy-nominated solo records, Case is a founding member of The New Pornographers.
