“While rooted in a singular genre, Marion's music conjures a fusion of garage folk and dreamy rock & roll. Each lyric and theme chosen for "Deep Cuts" is unfiltered and authentic, transforming the album into a collection of personal postcards”
– Rolling Stone Mexico

"Marion Raw is still in the process of unearthing facets of her identity, the familial bonds, and the detriments and charms of love in song. “Lloro” is no exception. Orchestrated around a bolero-Americana procession, “Lloro” (“I Cry”) is a profession of love, one capable of cracking the spirit."
– American Songwriter

"Marion Raw’s music occupies a “not quite here, not quite there,” in-between state that isn’t easy to categorize but also impossible to ignore. Haunting yet romantic and dream-like vocals foreground songs that harken back to the era of the ‘50s jukebox classics, but the Los Angeles by way of Mexico City artist also maintains a very contemporary sense of lo-fi indie coolness, like on “Ghost In The Machine.

Today, Mexico City/LA-based singer-songwriter Marion Raw shares a dark and beautiful new single "You Gotta". This track envelops listeners in a rich, melancholic atmosphere with its dark, brooding undertones. Despite its somber mood, the song's soft, ethereal vocals provide a hauntingly beautiful contrast.

Marion on the track, "Within the infectious unfolding of this song, I move through the messy journey of love's pursuit. A path that winds through shadows of deceit and betrayal, yet still beckons us deeper. And in the chorus, a defiant urge: to claim this search as our own, to fight for love's persistence, to care for its insistent pulse. For in the end, it's not the truth we seek, but the tender ache of our own humanity, seen for what it is, in love."
