PRAISE FOR SPACE FIGHT

"Space Fight’s mastery of the pop idiom is undeniable—woven with intricate textures and crowned with harmonies that resonate with the soul, they’ve crafted a sound that’s both lush and layered."

Post Punk

'"Stay Love' is a dazzling meld of indie pop and neo-disco, marked by a colorful hook, shimmering keys, and a passionate falsetto vocal from Miles"

Under The Radar

"Radio-friendly indie led by a frantic drum and bass beat."
- The Independent

"I don't think I can compare Space Fight to anyone...They're gonna be absolutely huge."
- Billy Clark, ThisIsFakeDIY.co.uk Radio

"...Space Fight have set the bar high for themselves, but while other bands might crash to earth this lot should be up amongst the stars in no time at all."
- The Found of Confusion

Today, synth-heavy indie-pop group Space Fight is releasing their long awaited EP, Hypserspeed. A combination of 80's dream pop, ballads, and 00's chillwave sounds, the EP shows off bandleader Spencer Miles ability to craft a diverse yet artistically driven project.

The EP's focus track, "Fallin for It", is a classic ode to Indie Pop, acting as a time machine, and bringing listeners into a dreamy, 80's, echo chamber. Miles' vocals shine brightly on the track, particularly on its epic chorus, where they soar across the buoyant rhythm put together by the band.

Discussing the focus track, Miles said, "the song didn't come together until almost the last minute of production. And when it did, we briefly thought of reworking the whole EP. We couldn't figure out how to start the song, and I went back over all the guitar parts Tom Welch had sent me, and somehow I had missed the one that's in there now. I threw it back in and then everything seemed to work, and it brought this Smiths-like vibe to the song that we considered trying on some other songs, but ultimately decided it's a nice unique detail that gives the track its own space on the EP."

The follow-up to 2022’s LP Do You Dream In The Daylight - the band's new EP Hyperspeed sees them exploring a darker and more synth-focused sound. The EP was produced by the band and features 4 new original songs as well as a remix by renowned lo-fi producer Allem Iversom. The EP’s non-remix tracks were mixed and mastered by Math Bishop (U2The KillersTwo Door Cinema Club), except track 4 mixed by Harris Cole.

The full Hyperspeed EP is due out now, and you can attend the EP release show at Pianos in NYC on 3/30.
