“Few musicians have released two culture-shifting records in the span of a single year, and even less have done it with two different musical outfits… the Death Cab/Postal Service tour is peak millennial nostalgia, in the best way.”

Today, indie rock titans The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie have unveiled additional North American dates for their landmark 20th anniversary co-headline ‘Give Up Transatlanticism’ tour, set for April-May 2024 – watch the official tour trailer (directed by frequent visual collaborator Juliet Bryanthere.

The extension comes in response to massive demand from fans, following the joint tour’s critically acclaimed and wildly-successful 2023 dates. That run was entirely sold-out and included back-to-back shows at NYC’s Madison Square Gardenthree nights at LA’s Hollywood Bowl, and marquee dates in many other major cities – bringing 250k+ fans together at iconic arenas and amphitheaters across the US.

This extraordinary live run celebrates the 20th anniversaries of each band’s seminal 2003 album, The Postal Service’s RIAA Platinum-certified Give Up and Death Cab for Cutie’s RIAA Platinum-certified breakthrough fourth studio LP Transatlanticism – two classics released within a mere eight months of one another, and created with a total recording budget of just $20k.

Benjamin Gibbard, co-founder of both bands, will continue to pull double duty on the 2024 dates, performing Give Up and Transatlanticism in full alongside his respective bandmates. “Few musicians have released two culture-shifting records in the span of a single year,” Pitchfork proclaimed within their glowing review of this fall’s first MSG show, “and even less have done it with two different musical outfits.”

Kicking off in Atlanta on April 23, the spring 2024 run will include stops in NashvilleTorontoVancouverMilwaukee, and more, before culminating in PortlandOR on May 15. Indie rock quartet Slow Pulp is set to support each night of the tour.

Presales will begin next Wednesday, December 6 at 10am local time, starting with the Artist Presale. All tickets will be available at the general on-sale starting next Friday, December 8 at 10am local time. Sign up for early access to tickets at giveuptransatlanticismtour.com.

Both bands are also thrilled to announce they’ll be bringing the tour to London next year. UK fans can stay up-to-date and sign up for notifications about this highly-anticipated show here.

I know for a fact I will never have a year again like 2003. The Postal Service record came out, Transatlanticism came out. These two records will be on my tombstone, and I’m totally fine with that. I’ve never had a more creatively inspired year.” – Benjamin Gibbard

The groundbreaking ‘Give Up Transatlanticism’ tour has been hailed as a “once-in-a-lifetime show” (Nylon), “dream double bill” (Variety), “must-see” (Consequence), and “one of the best shows of the year” (Alternative Press). Before the 2023 dates began, the historic outing was named one of GQ’s “12 Pop Culture Releases We’re Most Looking Forward to in 2023.”

The Postal Service is comprised of Gibbard, Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis; Death Cab for Cutie is comprised of Gibbard, Nick HarmerDave DepperZac Rae, and Jason McGerr. All upcoming tour dates are enclosed below.

LISTEN: https://kaytranada.lnk.to/LoverFriend

(November 30, 2023) - KAYTRANADA closes out 2023 with a new single, "Lover / Friend," along with its b-side, "Stuntin." Featuring Rochelle Jordan and Channel Tres, respectively, the songs showcase KAYTRANADA at his best. The double single caps off what has proven to be a massive year for him in the wake of his KAYTRAMINÉ album and tours with The Weeknd across Europe and South America.

"Lover / Friend" with Rochelle Jordan is quintessential KAYTRANADA, providing the producer's trademark bounce with enough negative space to let Jordan's vocals shine. "Stuntin" provides Channel Tres with the perfect canvas to showcase his signature slick talk. The single arrives ahead of a new full-length KAYTRANADA LP that is currently slated for release in 2024.

Hackney Diamonds is the Stones’ first studio set of original material since 2005’s A Bigger Bang. The album charted at #1 in 19 territories around the world selling over a million units since release. Lead single “Angry” is nominated for Best Rock Song at the 2024’s GRAMMY® Awards, whilst the single became the Stones’ first Top 40 single in the UK in 18 years.

Since the release of 2005’s A Bigger Bang the Stones have continued to smash box office records on a series of global sell-out tours and released 2016's GRAMMY® Award winning Blue & Lonesome, which featured their brilliant versions of many of the blues tracks that helped shape their sound, and topped album charts around the world. Last year, they thrilled European audiences totalling nearly a quarter of a million on the anniversary Sixty tour. The Rolling Stones have sold over 250 million albums worldwide.

Hackney Diamonds marks The Stones (Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood) first album produced by producer and musician Andrew Watt.

Caravan Palace Release “Reverse” on Le Plan Recordings

Caravan Palace Share “Reverse” From Upcoming Release

The Parisians Returned with over 10 million
“MAD” Streams HERE + HERE

Following the release of the multimillion-streamed "MAD"Caravan Palace unveil “Reverse” on November 30th, the new single from the platinum-selling band’s forthcoming album due 2024. Where the group who initially formed to score a vintage silent erotic film for French TV go next is anyone’s guess, but clues to their forthcoming album are due any day…

The pioneering Parisians go clubbing with a twist on this joyous, yet deceptively dark new single. Opening with ominous saxophone before breaking into an irresistibly infectious dance track. “Reverse”’ is four minutes of magnificent, shapeshifting mischief that mixes the metronomic vocals from frontwoman Zoe Colotis, brass breaks and house beats.

“It’s a sunny song, bedevilled by dark verses” says co-songwriter and guitarist Arnaud de Bosredon“The chorus is about having fun and dancing. The verses are about being alone in a dark place. Schizophrenic is how I’d describe it.” He’s not wrong. Alongside recurrent saxophone, there is a soaring trumpet solo, swing, jazz, disco and sexy synths while Zoe switches between jumping for joy, watching her back and having a panic attack.

“It’s a jigsaw puzzle of a song,” says the band’s Charles Delaporte“There are many elements in there, but we tried to keep the sound simple. The production was the tricky part. It’s complicated to put it together, but when you do.. bam!.. the impact is instant.”

For 15 fabulous years, Caravan Palace have defied convention to become electronic music mainstays while keeping their cool, innovating sound and refusing to follow the flock. As adored by fans of Ballroom dancing as they are by YouTubers bewitched by their risqué visuals and Tik-Tokers ensnared by their instantly addictive songs (clips of “MAD” have passed 10 million views on Tik-Tok alone), the band have sidestepped trends to forge their own fashionable path on which everyone is welcome.

Social media’s exploding obsession with Caravan Palace is down to the fans, rather than the band, who shrug their stats, preferring to party onstage with brass and strings. From Facebook to YouTube to the billions of clips on TikTok set to songs from their first four albums, technology has embraced their genre-mashing music without any intervention.

After having amassed over 2 billion streams via YouTube and Spotify combined, garnered millions of fans from every corner of the globe, having “Wonderland" go TikTok viral through the #posechallenge, and playing live, twice, on Live...with Jools Holland, and Jonathan Ross’ late-night show, they’re ready to further broaden their unique profile after selling over 750.000 records in America. Notably, they are one of the very few French bands to achieve an RIAA Platinum single, thanks to their hit track, "Lone Digger.”
