March 17th, 2023 – LA-via-Philadelphia alt-pop artist Kevitch arrives with her new single “Don’t Let Go” along with its Zach Sulak (Fousheé, Duckwrth) directed music video. The release of “Don’t Let Go” is accompanied by the announcement of Kevitch’s soon-to-be-titled debut EP out June 23rd via Nettwerk.   In “Don’t Let Go,” Kevitch’s lilting vocals feel like a velvet hallucination on a dark beach. Intoxicating and entrancing, the dreamy, R&B-tinged effort glides over a plush resonance. Beginning with a delicate guitar and subtle drums, “Don’t Let Go” blossoms into a soundscape capturing pure bliss. “Don’t Let Go” evokes the embodiment of unconditional love as a special yet sometimes, fleeting experience. The duality of unconditional and fleeting may not go hand in hand, but Kevitch’s hope is to hold onto this sensation without it ever completely fading away.   Kevitch reveals this of the track, "‘Don't Let Go’ plays off my last single "Secrets" with the idea that now I'm fully immersed in this human without anyone knowing how deep it runs. I like how the visuals feel relatable and not overly produced. ‘Don’t Let Go’ is more upbeat and happier than my other songs, and I wanted to visually present that. I love how we incorporated the beach alongside flowers and palm trees because those visuals give off this wild and free feeling that is behind the song’s overarching themes.”   On the previous single “Secrets,” Kevitch’s languid voice drapes itself luxuriously over chill beats, asking repeatedly, “Can you keep a secret? Tell me that you mean it.” The track elicits a sort of blissful nostalgia, featuring smooth layered vocals and a lush soundscape. The narrative alludes to that one-of-a-kind romantic connection that comes out of nowhere, but it’s Kevitch’s songwriting that triggers intense vulnerability that’s bound to her dense yet roomy sonic cadence.   Kevitch is re-introducing herself to the world as a reluctantly lovesick romantic in her untitled debut EP this summer. “I'm excited about this EP because it has a magical and hopeful feeling,” shares Kevitch. “I played with a few different genres in this project, incorporating R&B, pop, and lo-fi influences. This EP surrounds the evolution of a relationship when you first meet someone and the emotions that come with that.
