We reached out to some of our favorite horor movie directors and will be releasing a series of videos by them from See Through You.

First up was director Chad Crawford Kinkle (DEMENTER, JUGFACE) whose incredibly frightening video for I'm Hurt is here:

Last week we released the second video in this series by director Keith Thomas (THE VIGIL, FIRESTARTER) "I Disappear (When You're Near"  debuted on our favorite horror blog Bloody Disgusting here:

Plus the first two videos:

Wonderful reviews are pouring in including these:

"The addition of new elements and perfection of familiar qualities make See Through You a special album from A Place to Bury Strangers. Even as its attributes rewrite and reject sonic ideas from previous releases from the band, each song on this album sounds quite different from the next. A Place to Bury Strangers went out of their way to make this record an eclectic and diverse range of sounds within a specific style, leaving room for innovation and rewarding unpredictability."

"Continuing the early 2020s hot streak they kicked off with the Hologram EP, A Place to Bury Strangers deliver one of their most interesting and intentional albums in See Through You... That they can create a career peak like See Through You two decades after forming makes them all the more inspiring."

"Twenty years into the band, Ackermann is still finding new sonic and melodic avenues for A Place to Bury Strangers, and new ways to make their instruments sound totally insane"

"See Through You is one fantastic song after another, each one just as long as it needs to be, which leaves you wanting more."

"After numerous lineup changes, this album feels like Ackerman’s hitting of reset button has finally worked, and the project is continuing down the intriguing path started last year resulting in a hell of a comeback album."

"That being said, their expertise clearly lies in the wonderful layers of sound in each of their songs. This is music that needs to be seen live to be fully appreciated. But the headphones are the next best thing. After an hour of ear aerobics, you leave the album with the sense that Ackerman has reached catharsis with his grievances and his hopes, and his bandmates have fully scratched the itch to make some noise, beautiful and strange as it is."

"I enjoyed all the ebbs and all the flows of See Through You. I feel it gets even better with repeated listening as all the layers sink in. These three musicians stomp a lot of dirt up and deliver a beautiful mess. A Place To Bury Strangers will have their say in 2022"

"with See Through You, they’re as noisy—and as good—as ever."
