Low Life recently announced their new album From Squats to Lots: The Agony & XTC of Low Life. The LP will be released via Goner Records on November 5, 2021. The album is out on ALTER in UK/Europe and Lulu's in Australia.
Today they share "Hammer & the Fist," the second single from the album. As on the rest of the record, this track features shimmering guitars and layered effects that bring to mind Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine, while the overall production is more in line with Iggy's Lust for Life or Bowie's Low. Ultimately the Sydney, Australia outfit has created a sound that is their own - even more honed-in here than on their legendary debut "Dogging" or the follow up "Downer Edn".
