HAAi today shares two brand new tracks: “Head Above The Parakeets” and “Rotating in Unison,” both out now on Mute. These two new tracks form the first half of HAAi’s forthcoming four-track EP, Put Your Head Above The Parakeets, out September 11 on vinyl 12” and digital platforms. Listen and pre-order the 12” here. Watch the video for “Head Above The Parakeets” here.

Of the release, HAAi stated, “‘Head Above The Parakeets’ is an obvious play on words. To signify the feeling of risk, apprehension and being exposed in what you create. This video was made from footage from some of my favorite festivals and shows over the past year, some of my own visuals and some that were made for my 2019 Sonar show by INSRT. It’s a nostalgic, psychedelic nod to the job and people I love so much and a reaction to the whirlwind that was my life for the past couple of years. Thank you to Duncan Jacob (Duncographic) for the bulk of the footage from Let Them Eat Cake earlier this year.”

“The track ‘Rotating In Unison’ was made to highlight beauty and coexistence as we all rotate around the sun. To try and remember beauty and calm in a time of uncertainty and unrest, even for just a few minutes.”

These new tracks follow HAAi’s debut for Mute, the Systems Up, Windows Down EP, described by The Observer as “a bolshy collection of vibrant face-melters” and by Earmilk as "...a tantalizing, multi-textured piece of art."

Recent online sets include an hour-long show alongside Mute label boss Daniel Miller for Love Record Stores Event and a show from her flat in East London for Boiler Room’s Streaming from Isolation series.
