FKA twigs launches 'AVANTgarden', a new Instagram magazine

Friday 13th October 2017: FKA twigs introduces AVANTgarden, an original digizine to be built and distributed using Instagram's slides feature.
Part magic, part-memoir, AVANTgarden will be an unfiltered 10 "page" Instagram series, available to her growing number of 1.4 million followers, live on @fkatwigs. Each issue will explore FKA twigs' experiences and exploration of the self and provide a platform for collaboration throughout the worlds of music, art, fashion and beyond, drawing on her extended creative family.
The first issue of AVANTgarden is available from today. Titled 'ROOTS. SHOCK. BEAUTY.'issue one is a visual exploration of braided hair styles and features a host of FKA twigs' friends and long term collaborators including editor Suzannah Pettigrew, stylist Matthew Joseph and hair stylist Rio Shreedharan among others.
