HALLOCK HILL NEWS
WFMU
23 July at 9:00pm. I'm honored to have been asked by Dan Bodah to perform on his show, the Airborne Event, on Monday, July 23rd. The show will be broadcast from The Costello Plan in
Brooklyn (1213 Cortelyou Road). It would be great to see any and all of
you there. For those who cannot attend, you can listen to WMFU's live stream of the show at http://www.wfmu.org.
Years ago when he was on the Sunday morning shift from 6 to 9am, Dan
almost single-handedly got me back into music with this show. His
diverse taste is second to none, so it is a real thrill for Dan to
invite me for this.
THE 1794 MEETING HOUSE
11 August at 7:30pm.
The 1794 Meeting House in New Salem, Massachusetts has developed a new
series for August: Northern Routes - 4 Adventures in New Music. I'm
excited to be one of those adventurers, and will be opening for Bunwinkies and Marissa Nadler. You can find details about tickets, directions, etc. at http://1794meetinghouse.org /.
Other dates will have performances by 200 Years (featuring Ben Chasny),
Son of Earth, MV & EE, P.G. Six, Crystalline Roses and Red Heart
the Ticker. Promises to be an excellent series of shows.
THE UNION | A HEM OF EVENING
My first album The Union will be re-released by MIE Music on August 20th as a double LP with my third album A Hem of Evening. Originally released on CD by Hundred Acre Recordings last May, The Union contains pieces for acoustic and electric guitar. A Hem of Evening is all acoustic and is accompanied by a book of prose poems and photographs. It is now available for pre-order at MIE: http://miemusic.co.uk/releases.html.
There will be US distribution -- email me if you're in the US and want
to know when that's available. Might save you a few on postage that
way.
