Röyksopp are heralding the impending arrival of Profound Mysteries III, and the end of the acclaimed Profound Mysteries series, with another propulsive banger featuring the towering vocal talents of Susanne Sundfør. Wearing their love of Depeche Mode proudly, “Stay Awhile” once again demonstrates the innate musical chemistry between RYXP and Sundfør. According to Svein Berge & Torbjørn Brundtland, “‘Stay Awhile’ deals with solitude, longing and the basic human need for intimacy.”
As part of the duo’s release week celebrations they will be hosting a special extended livestream event on Thursday, November 17th on the RYXP YouTube channel at 7pm CET | 6pm GMT | 1pm EST | 10am PST.
Röyksopp’s 2023 ‘True Electric’ EU Tour will start in Sweden on February 16th, including dates at London’s O2 Brixton Academy on February 19th and Tempodrom in Berlin on February 23rd. The ‘True Electric’ tour will be the legendary duo’s first tour since 2017. This year Röyksopp premiered their audacious live show to festivals in Norway, flamboyant costumes included, reminding everyone why they’re one of the world’s must see live artists. The duo’s Profound Mysteries project has garnered 42MM+ streams to date and has received huge support from BBC 6Music. Profound Mysteries III will be released this Friday November 18, 2022 and features guest appearances from Alison Goldfrapp, Maurissa Rose, Astrid S, Jamie Irrepressible, Pixx, and the aforementioned Susanne Sundfør.
