Los Angeles powerhouse Lauren Ruth Ward, known for her 70s psych-blues swagger and incomparable vocal stylings, has shared a new track, “Pullstring” today. Combining soulful vocals and the melodic strum of her acoustic guitar, this track showcases her folk roots. Pullstring’s meaning : “No matter how thoughtful or good my intentions are, everyone sees they want to see. Ignoring the voices that see me in a negative light and focusing on the individuals who see me as I intend is something I reteach myself daily.”
