“Fallen Family” is a two minute twisted tale directed by the “anti-Disney” animator Jim Trainor. 



“The noisy, atonal song sounds like a bad acid trip and the creepy animated video is the perfect visual accompaniment.” – Brooklyn Vegan

The graphics complement the song’s distinct undertones of relationships within families. Trainor’s stark, choppy animation, initially all hand-drawn cells painstakingly traced with sharpies, dives into an enigmatic worldly familial symbolism with mysterious wryness.
 

 
The song itself is about failed Christmas gathering where family goodwill has been entirely replaced.
 
From the minds of mischief makers, no-wave, noise-punk band Ice Balloons - Kyp Malone (TV On The Radio), Sean Kennerly (Samiam), Sean Powell (Fuckemos, Surfbort), Giselle Reiber (Midnight Masses), Dan Scinta (Wild Yaks) and BA Miale.
