Don't miss Los Angeles based, rock & roll band, The Pandoras' , two night reunionshows in New York City and New Jersey on September 12th and 13th . The all-female band, who is currently on a thirteen city European tour , will end their run with these two US shows. The reunion is to commemorate The Pandora's lead songwriter Paula Pierce , who passed away on August 10, 1991, having suffered a fatal aneurysm at the age of 31. Now twenty five years later the original members of The Pandoras, with Kim Shattuck (of the Muffs) takingover lead vocals and guitar, will celebrate the life and music of Pierce. The rock outfit, whose reign lasted 1983 - 1990, is still revered today as a major inspiration to female musicians.
The September 12th, New York City show will be supported by New England's newest hit-makers The Connection, who have just released a brand new album, Labor of Love, via Rum Bar Records King Yum Inc. The September 13th, New Jersey show will feature rock savvy guitar chick and co-founder of The Friggs, Palmyra Delran. In addition toDelran's musical talents, she currently hosts her own radio show "Palmyra's Trash-Pop Shindig" in Little Steven's Underground Garage on Sunday mornings (8am-noon EST) with a repeat show on Monday morning (4am-8am EST) on SiriusXM radio.
