LA Rocker and self-proclaimed “Dirty Misfit,” Kit Major, is entering a bold new chapter with the announcement of a new EP, Miss Ego, due for release June 12th via Futureless.
Known for her signature sound of grunge-punk bite, Major has drawn comparisons to Iggy Pop, Viagra Boys, Amyl & The Sniffers, but Miss Ego is less about lineage and more about liberation. The EP rips into issues of image, self-worth and expectation, and explores how much space a woman is allowed to take onstage, in relationships, in the rock scene and in the world.
Following the fiery and rebellious anthem, "Not As Witty As I Used To Be," Major returns with the next installment from Miss Ego: the high-voltage ripper “Punk Rock Boyfriend,” out March 20.
"The world needs more honesty and sometimes that’s shouting out “I WANT A BOYFRIEND," Major shares. Clocking in at under two minutes, “Punk Rock Boyfriend” is a thrashing, cathartic joyride — raw, urgent, and unapologetically loud.
"Punk Rock Boyfriend" is out March 20th. Miss Ego is out June 12th via Futureless. |
