Pianist Tiffany Poon arrives today (October 24) with her rendition of “Le Cygne” (“The Swan”), a piece by the legendary Camile Saint-Saens. This track serves as the latest offering from Nature, the acclaimed pianist's sophomore album, which aims to reinterpret works from various great French composers through the lens of immersing oneself in - and celebrating - our natural surroundings.

Striving to increase the appeal and accessibility of classical music, Tiffany pays homage to the artists that came before her and hopes to convey how nature similarly inspires her craft. In an early review of Nature, Michael Kaykov of Music Web International states of “The Swan,” “Poon plays it with great delicacy.”

A self-directed music video, made in collaboration with Remy Holwick, visually represents Tiffany’s takeaways from the timeless Saint-Saens composition. In it, Tiffany moves through tranquil forest scenery - first journaling and picking the petals from a flower, before she stands at the edge of a lake and dives in like a literal swan.

“The Swan” serves as the final pre-release single; Maurice Ravel’s “Jeux d’eau” will follow on November 7 along with the album release via PENTATONE. Pre-save Nature here: https://lnk.to/NatureTiffany

Nature, which Tiffany recorded at legendary Provence recording studio Miraval Studios (Pink Floyd, Sade, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds) with producer Damien Quintard, brings together works by French composers across centuries, united by an instinctual admiration for the world around them. Tiffany’s curated selection is guided by intuition and deep personal connection, featuring pieces by Ravel, Rameau Daquin and more.

For the 2025/26 season, Tiffany–who has performed at New York City's iconic Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, Benaroya Hall (Seattle), The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage (Santa Monica) and Muziekgebouw (Amsterdam)--will tour Europe and North America featuring a programme inspired by Nature.  She will be returning to London's Queen Elizabeth Hall, performing in Leipzig, Zwickau and Frankfurt, Germany, and making debut appearances at the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and Salle Gaveau (Paris). Tiffany will also make her debut at Vancouver Recital Society, followed by a U.S. Nature recital tour, including a return to San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre.  All confirmed dates follow here with more to be announced soon.
