Pan American & Kramer today have released their new LP Interior of an Edifice Under the Sea via Shimmy-Disc. Yesterday, the duo shared the single "Lamenting The Colours of Melting Ice," which follows previous singles "Under The Mariana Trench" and "The Double Life of a Seahorse." The new record is a triumphant work from the acclaimed duo, an eight track collection of ambient music that guides the listener through otherworldly, enveloping soundscapes.
Interior of an Edifice Under The Sea takes Nelson & Kramer deep under the earth's seas, pulling the listener down beside them as they explore the uncharted currents that fuel the human imagination–fluid, always moving, and always changing. It is an excursion into the lowest depths of ambient music, and a new beginning from the very place where life itself began. The floor of the ocean has a new sound, and it is breathtakingly beautiful. The duo's collaborative powers are nowhere near their peak and this voyage takes them further into the uncharted.
