LA-based French-Korean singer, songwriter, and producer spill tab has just shared another glimpse into her forthcoming debut full length with the release of “De Guerre” (stream it now). The new song follows the release of “PINK LEMONADE” late last year, which arrived alongside the announcement of her signing to Because Music. Co-produced by spill tab and apob alongside Mikey Freedom Hart (Taylor Swift, Empress Of), the track exudes hyperpop eclecticism, threading nonchalant French spoken lyrics over a buzzing synth-bassline and pounding drums, building an intricate soundworld of speeding melodic motifs. “‘De Guerre’ is my personal soundtrack to a chaotic night out on the town,” states spill tab, “dancing, sweating, going absolutely feral, indulging in my vices, ignoring every consequence, and just being in my body.” That sense of freneticism is embodied by the accompanying visualizer - watch it now. About spill tab:  Claire Chicha, also known as spill tab, is a French-Korean songwriter and producer based in LA. Raised by a French Algerian composer father and a Korean pianist mother, Chicha spent her early years immersed in music at her parents' post-production studio, absorbing jazz, classical, and other diverse influences. Following a childhood spent between LA, Thailand, and Paris, where she picked up guitar and soaked in a variety of musical traditions, Chicha developed a distinctive sound blending raw-edged guitar confessionals with anthemic pop hooks.
