Emerging pop artist Rachel Grae returns with her new single and video "Good Side" on Boom.Records. The authentically raw and subtly poignant single touches on the human condition and how humanity has lost itself to the unrealistic standards set by social media culture. Driven by clever introspective and hooky earworm lyricism that showcases Grae's powerhouse vocals, songwriting, and storytelling abilities.

Rachel Grae shares, "Social Media really taught everyone how to 'fake it till you make it.' It's ok not to be ok. Not everything you see on social media is real life. I love you all <3."

The coinciding visual directed by James Pizarro depicts the internal struggle of "Good Side". It offers commentary on how we tend to lose ourselves in an effort to craft an engaging online persona that's filtered to fake perfection and the tasks we undertake just for the attention and likes—resulting in a generation that's unable to discern reality from the digital world and in feelings of inadequacy and loneliness, especially when we are on our own.

Today's news arrives on the heels of her recent appearance on MTV's Becoming A Popstar. She competed as one of eight up-and-coming artists with celebrity judges Joe JonasBecky G, and Sean Bankhead and was named the series's first fan-favorite pick of the week for her video "Jersey." Vote for Grae’s “Say It To My Face” on TikTok as your fan-favorite pick of the week to help Grae and duet partner KB the Singer win the weekly challenge.

Rachel Grae is a fast-rising pop artist to watch with recent release "How To Be Alone" and songs "Bad Timing", "Lived It Twice", and "Outsider" which have resulted in over 2M streams across DSPs in the span of 10 months. Her music ranges in emotion and insight. Her vibrant personality resonates with her listeners as she pours her heart and soul into her music and touches on the uncomfortable topics that her generation feels. Resulting in an organic and devout following that has increased her reach as she continues to grow and become the artist she's striving to be.

ABOUT RACHEL GRAE:
Rachel’s music stands out because of the authenticity behind it. Many artists sing about these topics, but Rachel openly lives her life like this. Followers of her TikTok are familiar with Rachel’s iconic solo videos alone in her car, bedroom, or anywhere private. She cultivates her artistic style alone, not looking for the approval of anyone except herself in that moment, and her ability to shut out the world and ignore negativity is what has allowed Rachel to simultaneously become so vulnerable yet confident.

Rachel has been drawn to performing from a young age. She’s an inherently expressive person, and as she grew up, music became her primary outlet. Rachel can often be found musing over her notebook with a pen, masterfully composing her next lyrical epiphany. When she isn’t writing, Rachel is on her keyboard, practicing vocals in her kitchen, or recording her iconic ‘car covers’ for TikTok where she has amassed 250K followers in a matter of months.

Growing up in the outskirts of New York City, Rachel Grae dissected music like an archeologist — digging into lyrics, and turning over melodies. When she started writing her own music she set her intention with clarity, embracing imperfection as a means to investigate vulnerability in all its forms. Rachel points to Kelly Clarkson, Adele, and Demi Lovato as vocal inspirations, but she invokes the youthful energy of peers like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, and Tate McRae through her songwriting. Uniquely, when Rachel Grae yearns to learn more about the world around her, she looks inwardly — reflecting on her past missteps and epiphanies to inform her next move. Her goal is clear: constructing songs that confront universal emotions as a compassionate act; making music that works on herself means that listeners start halfway to the finish line.
