Fresh off the heels of her first full-band tour of Europe, Mitski was named Best Songwriter of 2016 by theVillage Voice. Shortly thereafter she sat in with Jon Batiste and Stay Human on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. She and the band played her songs throughout the show, plus they recorded a knockout take of "Your Best American Girl" for the web.
