"We're head over heels." - Noisey
"Their jangling, catchy garage rock is some of the most simply fun and addictive music we've heard in years...Trust us, it's fucking awesome." - Pigeons & Planes
"...lo-fi garage rockers Hinds have already placed themselves at the forefront of the rising DIY rock scene in Madrid, Spain...[they] bring their carefree, jangly sound across the world, making listeners fall in love with their infectiously upbeat live shows." - Consequence of Sound
Hinds are gearing up to release their highly anticipated debut album Leave Me Alone on January 8th via Mom + Pop, and today the band shares a new single off the LP entitled "San Diego." At just two and a half minutes long, "San Diego" is a fuzzed-out, melodic mantra from the Madrid-based four-piece, who always manage to sound like they're having the time of their lives while emphatically singing "stay close to me or know I'll die" as loud as they can in unison. The song premiered exclusively onSirius XMU, where the track was on repeat all weekend long, and is now available online. PRESS HERE to listen to "San Diego" now.
Hinds on "San Diego":
"we all have bad days. we mean bad nights. one day a friend told us 'I don't wanna fall asleep because I know what's the dream about.' this song is about staying awake. just staying awake."
