Twenty Years ago today: ANGRY WOMEN

Twenty years ago I staged one of the most bizarre events in San Francisco history. As a tribute to the RE/search book Angry Women, we had a performance art night in February 1992. It was in the south of market party of SF. Kathy Acker was supposed to show up, but never did. Although it was called Angry Women, most people in the show were men dressed in drag and one transgender person. Only Bucky Sinister and Rex Bruce were the only token males for the night. It was a great night, and they did a part two a year later. I wish we had more pictures of this night.
