May 4, 2026 - Los Angeles, CA: Inara George announces shares a new video for 'The Well' Daedelus Remix F/ Israel Strom. The original version of 'The Well 'is from her album Songs of Douglass and Littell released on March 20. The set is a collaboration with longtime friends Eliot Douglass and Philip Littell, showcasing reimagined songs first written more than thirty years ago. Though best known for her work in folk-pop and indie pop, Inara has always been a musical shape-shifter with this album exploring a jazzier side.


Inara talks about working with Daedelus: “I have collaborated with Alfred (Daedalus) on a few occasions. Years ago he asked me to write a top line for his song "Penny Loafers”. It was a thrilling experience to try and find a melody in all that beautiful chaos. I was really happy with how that turned out. He is such an incredible artist, always pushing the limits of musical expectations. Since that experience I have turned to him to ask him to remix a few of my songs. I was so thrilled that he agreed to do a remix of “The Well”. And as expected, he brought the song to a completely different dimension"

Inara George will be hitting the road next month to play select North American dates. Joining her on the road will be Eliot Douglass (Piano), Dan Schnelle (Drums), and JP Maramba (Upright Bass.) On the band, Inara says: "They are all incredibly talented musicians, and because of that, there is a freedom and looseness to the performances. There’s a lot of playfulness and adventurousness at the shows, which I think plays into the jazz slant of the music."


They'll also play songs from older albums and Inara says "The music all really seems to work very well together."
