“psychedelic electronica, massive breakbeat sounds, anthemic synth-kissed songs and remarkably fun D.J. sets — continues to cement her reputation as a stand-alone talent.”
–The New York Times

“While plenty of electronic musicians will pontificate on the meaning of machines,
rarely do they craft a work that embodies the complexity of contradiction that is being alive.  Your AIs could never.”
–Billboard

...something bigger, something that transcends the club without turning its back on it. More than any individual standout tracks, what’s most compelling is the album’s journey.”
– Pitchfork
Australian-born, London-based DJ, producer, and vocalist HAAi (aka Teneil Throssell) continues her global ascent embarking on her Spring 2026 U.S. tour dates, alongside a recent nomination for Beatport Producer of the Year at the inaugural Beatport Awards.

The nomination caps off a landmark period for HAAi, who has continued to push the boundaries of electronic music following the release of her critically acclaimed album HUMANiSE. Named one of the year’s best dance releases by Billboard, HAAi has continued to cement her reputation as one of electronic music’s most emotionally resonant and forward-thinking voices. Standout single “Can’t Stand To Lose” was recognized as one of Beatportal’s Tracks of the Year.

Her album HUMANiSE lives in that space between club functionality and something more personal rooted in identity, emotional release, and the queer foundations of nightlife. It also brought in voices like the Trans Voices choir, and more broadly reflects a practice centered on community, connection, and presence on the dancefloor.

Further cementing her place within the current electronic landscape, HAAi recently contributed a remix of “The Floor” to Fred again..’s newly released USB002 Remixes project, The collaboration builds on her longstanding creative relationship with Fred again.., following her widely celebrated 2022 remix of “Lights Out,” also featuring Romy.

HAAi is currently available for interviews, profiles, and editorial features surrounding her spring tour dates, forthcoming LP project, and live show performances incorporating immersive, multidisciplinary elements.

About HAAi
HAAi (aka Teneil Throssell) has always sought out new frontiers in electronic music, and on her second album, HUMANiSE, she’s drilling deeper into the matrix. A distinct evolution from her 2022 debut, Baby, We’re Ascending, the new album reckons with what it is to be human in an increasingly digital world, as AI threatens to eclipse everything and our screens separate us from each other. The result is an ambitious and thrilling epic: a sonic step up for the Australian-born, London-based DJ and producer. For HUMANiSE, she has created her own techno-pop sci-fi, exploring the sweet spot between machine-led dystopia and emotion-filled utopia.
