The album serves as both a return to form for the pop provocateur and the next chapter in the repertoire of one of the most dynamic music auteurs in recent history. Both sonically and visually, Hell To Be You Baby is MNDR’s grandiose take on the obsession with click-bait culture and the Cult of Me generation. Following a late spring tease with the epic single “Love In Reverse” with Empress Of, MNDR announced the new album with Mark Ronson co-produced title track, “Hell To Be You Baby”. MNDR enlisted dance heavyweights TOKiMONSTA, RAC and Porches for otherworldly remixes that launched tracks from Hell To Be You Baby onto playlists at Spotify, Apple and Tidal, also making the album #1 on the NACC Electronic Adds at college radio and #8 on the NACC Top Add Chart overall. MNDR has always proudly boasted her independence, from running her own record label and being one of the most trusted and respected songwriters and producers in the music industry to consistently championing causes to give back to marginalized communities. Born on a small farm in rural North Dakota, MNDR began her journey recording with her father at nine years old. Warner bloomed in the Oakland DIY scene and later moved to NYC, where she met her production partner, Peter Wade. Warner continued her production journey after fate introduced her to legendary UK producer Mark Ronson, which led to a massive early collaboration with Ronson & Q-Tip on the Top 10 hit "Bang Bang Bang." The release of MNDR's critically acclaimed debut album Feed Me Diamonds followed and was crowned one of the year's best albums after release.
