Recorded at the legendary EastWest Studios in Hollywood withproducer Billy Bush, the first single is set for Sept 29th in advance of their highly anticipated world wide launch of the documentary L7: Pretend We’re Dead.

The L7: Pretend We're Dead documentary will be released worldwide October 13 on Blu-ray/VOD and features 30 minutes of never before seen footage of the band and includes the full length tongue-in-cheek satire, The Beauty Process directed by Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic. Other channels to be announced soon.

The film is currently in the midst of a US theatrical run with stops in Seattle, Boston, New York and in Los Angeles Sept 16th at The Regent DTLA where the band will be in attendance. Live shows include a run of West Coast dates next month, including in store appearances at Amoeba LA and Amoeba SF, with more chances to experience the electrifying onslaught coming soon.

L7: Pretend We’re Dead assembles a powerful combination of never-before-seen home video footage, raucous performances, and relevant interviews. It's a real time journey witnessing the rise, fall, and ultimate redemption of the fierce feminist pioneers of American grunge punk, L7. The film offers engrossing insight into the band’s 20 year plus her-story and features exclusive interviews with Exene Cervenka (X), Shirley Manson (Garbage), Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), Joan Jett, Brody Dalle (The Distillers), Lydia Lunch, Allison Robertson (The Donnas), Louise Post (Veruca Salt), and more.
