Jonathan Wilson Unveils Video For "Sunset Boulevard"

Jonathan Wilson unveiled his new video, for "Sunset Boulevard", today. Premiering earlier today on Conan O'Brien's Team Coco site, you can watch it HERE. The atmospheric music video, directed by Arielle Pytka, sees Wilson navigate the famous Los Angeles' boulevard at night in one of his own classic cars, a 1975 Porsche 911. The track, taken from his acclaimed album Rare Birds was also one of three that Wilson performed on his recent CBS This Morning appearance.

Wilson's third album Rare Birds - featuring collaborations with Father John Misty, Lucius, Laraaji and Lana Del Rey - was released March 2nd on Bella Union to rave reviews. He returns to the US for a headline tour in September plus a performance at Lincoln Center's Out Of Doors Festival in Manhattan on July 29th. The performance is free. This show marks a return to the US at the tail end of over 18 months of touring as part of Roger Waters arena-packing band on the lauded Us + Them Tour, which has played over 200shows on three continents. Upon returning to his adopted hometown of Los Angeles this month he'll make his KCRW Morning Becomes Eclectic debut on July 23rd.
A highly sought after record producer, North Carolina native Wilson recently produced Father John Misty's GRAMMY winning Pure Comedy. He also saw widespread acclaim heaped on his production of Karen Elson's sophomore LP Double Roses and Conor Oberst's Upside Down Mountain.
