French-American alt-pop musician and visual artist, CLARA-NOVA (moniker of Sydney Wayser), has announced the release of a new EP THE GOLDEN AGE with a stunning new single, "Electric" - listen via Atwood Magazine here! Produced by Shawn Everett (Julian Casablancas, Alabama Shakes, John Legend, Lucius) and with artwork shot by CLARA-NOVA's frequent collaborator, photographer Amber Canterbury"Electric" takes CLARA-NOVA's sparkling alt-pop sound to new heights with up-tempo rhythm and urgent vocals.
 
THE GOLDEN AGE is set for release July 27, 2018 via Kobalt Music Recordings, following CLARA-NOVA's release this spring of THE IRON AGE EP.
 
"THE IRON AGE was my own personal lesson in strength and perseverance while this next chapter, THE GOLDEN AGE, is about hopefulness," Wayser revealed. "As one door closes, dozens of other doors open in its place. I can't wait to see what's on the other side of them."

In addition, Wayser has been preparing a photo installation tied to the EP titled IRON // GOLD, which will debut later this year at a multi-media show in her hometown of Los Angeles. The installation expands on CLARA-NVOA's songwriting and lyrics in visual format, including collaborations with some of Wayser's favorite Los Angeles photographers.
 
Over the span of her career, Wayser has amassed millions of streams on Spotify, and garnered press praise with NPR, Entertainment Weekly, ELLE, Interview Magazine, KEXP, Nylon, and more, plus performed on national TV for Last Call with Carson Daly. Her music has been featured within numerous major films and network TV series such as: Spotlight (film trailer), Wish Upon (film credits), Shameless, How To Get Away With Murder, This Is Us, Fear Inc. Exodus: Gods and Kings (film trailer) and more. Her songs have also been highlighted within national advertising spots for major companies such as: Madewell, Victoria Secret's, Old Navy, Billabong, Whole Foods and more. This spring, she performed at SXSW 2018, including a showcase with KUTX, and will be playing at The Wild Honey Pie's Welcome Campers Music Festival over Memorial Day weekend.
