BIRDS Announce Debut LP Everything All At Once, Out August 18th via Greenway Records (pre-order)  Stream Lead Single "Get Away" via The 405 Brooklyn band BIRDS has announced its debut LP, Everything All At Once, due out August 18th via Greenway Records. It's currently available for pre-order on limited-edition splatter vinyl and cassette. Made up of Duane Lauginiger (guitar, vocals), Jessica Reynoza (bass, vocals), Jess Rees (guitar), and Tim Plunkett (drums), BIRDS craft a mangled, fuzzed-out mix of psych, pop, and straightforward rock 'n' roll, pairing catchy, '60s-influenced hooks with the blown-out sounds of the '90s. Their new single, "Get Away," showcases the band's more pop-leaning side, with jangly guitar riffs and dreamy vocal harmonies. Written at Time Castle (a basement studio run by Lauginiger) and recorded by Paul Kostabi at Thunderdome Studio, the eight tracks on Everything All At Once tackle themes of joy, loss, and feeling disconnected. Lauginiger and Reynoza's intertwining vocals sit atop lush layers of instrumentation, giving the whole album an etherial, blissed-out vibe.   BIRDS will be previewing their new material at NYC's Niagara this Thursday (6/15) -- more info here.
