ERASURE (Andy Bell and Vince Clarke) have released a brand new track, “Still It’s Not Over,” from their forthcoming studio album, World Be Gone – out on May 19, 2017. Listen to the song here.

“Still It’s Not Over” illustrates the album’s reflective mood and shows Erasure’s spirit of resistance is undiminished with lyrics that serve as a potent reminder of the band’s place in the gay rights movement.

World Be Gone sees the award-winning songwriters giving the world and recent political upheavals a thoughtful examination and, as highlighted on the painted artwork showing a ship's masthead rising up from being submerged in the stormy waters, looking forward to the future.

Written, performed and produced by Erasure and mixed by Matty Green, MOJO have described the album as “A triumph of achingly beautiful pop protest music.”

World Be Gone will be available on CD, limited edition orange vinyl, regular vinyl & cassette and is available to pre-order now.

To celebrate World Be Gone, Mute will be hosting a free album release party at the legendary Stonewall Inn in New York on May 17 from 7pm-10pm. Hosted by drag emcee Terra Hyman, Erasure fans will be able to partake in all-Erasure karaoke as well as have the opportunity to hear and purchase the album prior to commercial release. More details here.

Following the album’s release, the Love You to the Sky digital EP will be out on June 2. The EP includes mixes by Ladytron, Matt PopLoframes, Adam Turner and the band’s own Vince Clarke as well as a previously unreleased b-side, “Nothing I Could Say.” Preorder the Love You to the Sky EPhere.

The enduring BRIT and Ivor Novello winning pop duo have released a staggering number of albums, including 5 UK Number 1’s and 17 top 10 singles (35 singles charted in the UK Top 40) and their recent best of, Always, saw Erasure entering the Top 10 album charts once again.
