CLOVES Releases New Song “California Numb” Today

Sold Out Tour With Michael Kiwanuka Kicked Off This Week

Santa Monica, California, May, 19, 2017 – CLOVES, simply, is on a mission to make music to remember.  Today she returns with a brand new song, “California Numb,” which combines the earth-shattering vocals and honest verses we’ve come  to expect from the 21-year-old London-via-Melbourne singer/songwriter.   “California Numb” follows “Better Now” as the second song to be announced off her upcoming debut album which will be released on Interscope Records later this year.  “California Numb” is available now for digital download and streaming via digital subscription services - http://smarturl.it/CaliforniaNumb.  Listen to “California Numb” HERE.

“California Numb is about catching yourself off guard” explains CLOVES. “It’s about the moment you realize you’re becoming somebody you don’t want to be, the idea of losing yourself in something or someone else you shouldn't be influenced by, and having to claw yourself back.”

Looking ahead to her debut album, CLOVES is putting the finishing touches on what promises to be a bold and ambitious body of work. The album has primarily been written by CLOVES with select key collaborators including Justin Parker (Rihanna, Mikky Ekko, Sia, Lana Del Rey), Starsmith (Ellie Goulding, Clean Bandit, Jess Glynne) and Ariel Rechtshaid (HAIM, Adele, Vampire Weekend, Brandon Flowers).

After an amazing run of festival appearances in the U.S. last year, including stops at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Osheago and Outside Lands, CLOVES is now joining Michael Kiwanuka on a sold out trek around North America, including a headline show at Joe’s Pub in New York on June  1st and a performance at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival.
