Austin’s most fun-loving eight-piece band Sweet Spirit is officially releasing their sophomore albumSt. Mojo today via Nine Mile Records. The dynamic collection of eleven songs is available digitally via Spotify and iTunes and physically via Nine Mile Records. The band is also debuting a video for album track “Pamela” via Ghettoblaster Magazine to celebrate the release. The ode to eternal babe Pamela Anderson takes place on a boat cruising Austin’s Lady Bird Lake. Explains frontwoman Sabrina Ellis:

“Slow motion is exciting to watch. There's a sense of voyeurism, when given the ability to stretch a moment out, and to stare at that moment as it unfolds. There's a subtle naughtiness to it. Slow motion allows us to see the full arc of a movement, the build up, climax and follow through of a bouncing body part. And we can't look away.
How apt, to set this footage to a song about the Queen of Life Saving Slo-mo, Pamela Anderson. While we sing our admiration for the brazen beauty, the camera flirts with pure fluidity, shots so slow they are almost still, and the kinetic dinge of drummer Danny's ever burning cigarette. Brilliantly shot and edited by Sean Daigle on his birthday at the Hotel Vegas booze cruise, this video wants to make you think about us... later.”

The boat show is just a taste of what’s to come at Sweet Spirit’s live performances, coming soon to a city near you. See below for details.
