Circa Waves will kick off a U.S. headline tour on June 4 at Schubas Tavern in Chicago. The run will include shows at Rough Trade in Brooklyn (June 7) and the Mercury Lounge in Manhattan (June 8). The Liverpool-based band will perform at Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeleson June 13.Special guests Blaenavon will support on the Eastern U.S. dates and Dreamers will open at the Los Angeles and San Diego shows. Tickets will go on sale to the general public HERE on Friday, April 28, at 10:00 AM ET. See below for itinerary.
The official video for "Love's Run Out" premiered today on Vevo. The song has proved to be a fan favorite during Circa Waves' recent sold-out U.K. and European tours.Gregg Houston directed and produced the clip, which also captures the band in the studio during the recording sessions for its new album, Different Creatures (Virgin Records). "Fire That Burns," the band's new single, has been added into rotation at Sirius XM's Alt Nation and A-listed by the BBC's Radio 1. "Different Creatures is a beast of a record," said Q Magazine while NME said it's "full of bruising riffs and dark lyrics."Both magazines awarded the album four stars, as didDIY Magazine, Kerrang and Dork. Co-produced by Alan Moulder (The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Smashing Pumpkins), Different Creatures is the follow-up to Circa Waves'2015 debut, Young Chasers, which contained five BBC Radio 1 A-list singles including "T-Shirt Weather."
