On The Road Now - Extend Tour - NYC, DC and More

Savoy Motel play Southern Rock in a modern tradition - they're not a post punk band or a retro glam revival group.  They aren't trying to revive anything.  "We try to create music that's all inclusive escapism, and we like our videos to match the vibe."  Their new video "Sorry People", directed by Dylan Carver, captures members Jeffrey NovakJessica McFarlandMimi Galbierz and Dillon Watson jamming from a barn in their hometown of Nashville - line dancing included. Savoy's fall tour in support of their debut S/T album - out on What's Your Rupture? Records October 21 - is now underway with The Dandy Warhols. They've extended their run with two NYC shows, DC, Chicago and more - full list available below.

"This is easily the best thing conjured by any of the band's members in years-a promising, genre-busting introduction" - Pitchfork

"sound like a compendium of great, garish 70s pop moments" - The Guardian

"a genre-mashing retro party-rock band from Nashville" - Stereogum

"Addictive...Savoy Motel is an evolutionary step for Novak" -
Noisey

"We use rock and roll as a vehicle to reach and promote the feeling of TOTAL FREEDOM," claims Watson. "Savoy Motel is defined more by a feeling than a sound. I hear this feeling in other acts too ... Miles Davis, Little Richard, the Osborne BrothersFaustThe Rolling Stones, all the best ones. And the diversity of records I knew TOTAL FREEDOM from was also encouraging to me early on in regards to the band, because it made me realize what potential and widespread appeal our music could have."
