The video, elegantly directed by Amber and shot by Jake Magee, thrums like a revelatory postcard from the soul, depicting Amber on a seaside stroll over a breath-taking ocean landscape. The new song is the perfect introduction to Amber’s forthcoming solo album, highlighting her lulling vocal delivery that transports the listener, with the winsome Coffman gracefully in command of every note.

Full-time guitarist/singer for the Dirty Projectors since 2006, Amber wrote and recorded her entire solo album in Los Angeles, having moved there from Brooklyn in 2013. She’s quietly become one of the most intriguing and sought-after vocalists the past few years, delivering notable performances with Bjork and David Byrne on separate Dirty Projectors collaborations (Mount Wittenberg Orca and “Knotty Pine,” respectively), with a host of cutting-edge artists from the EDM, Hip hop and indie worlds enlisting Coffman’s rare talents for their own projects. Artists she has collaborated with include Major Lazer, Rusko, J.Cole, Snoop Lion (a.k.a. Snoop Dogg), T.I., and Velvet Underground impresario John Cale, with Coffman lending her exquisite harmonies to his classic “Close Watch” in 2015. Most recently she appears on Frank Ocean’s long awaited album Blonde.

Blessed with an effortless style and formidable artistic presence able to impact multiple genres and song structures, Amber’s solo debut has been greatly anticipated by critics and fans alike. About “All To Myself,” she comments: “For anyone who's ever found themselves uncomfortably restless, sad and alone, or even temporarily doubting themselves and their dreams, this is a mantra, a pep talk, a love song to yourself. It's a song you can slow dance by yourself to without feeling funny if there's no one else there. A small reminder not to spend too much time fretting and just to get out there, live your life and do what makes you happy.”
