Collection Features Contributions By Arthur Baker, In Flagranti And Leo James

Today, Astralwerks released The Avalanches' Subways Remixes. The collection includes influential producer/DJ Arthur Baker's remix of "Subways," which premiered earlier this week on Pitchfork. While Baker (Afrika Bambaataa, New Order) is often considered a founding father of hip-hop and electronica and credited with bringing remixing into the mainstream, it has become extremely rare for him to release a remix.
